Terms Entered in Search Boxes
A name, place, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Union County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may collect and process the query under its separate privacy policy.
Email and Contact Messages
If you email us or send a contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share that message outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Standard technical records may be created when a browser loads a page. They can include:
- The internet protocol address used for the request
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- Date and time stamps for visits or requests
Cookie Controls

How Information Supports the Site

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request deletion.

Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information we hold
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information that may lawfully be erased
- Opt out of certain forms of processing
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Notice as practices, services, or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here and will carry an updated effective date.
